it's all coming at ya!

This one was for my B.F.A. thesis show. It was a whole room filled with milk carton paper. I had to do a lot of bending and a lot of hanging. This is just one aspect of the installation where there was more colors.

The title of the installation was My Struggle. I had to be in that room for a long period of time, so it really felt like a prison. The other title that I gave this installation project was "the milk carton room". I hope to do this sort of thing again because there was so much potential to this.

The title for this is Koala Angel 35%. This painting is relatively big, about the size of your bed room wall, and it has a very complex texture. Various mediums are within this painting, including news paper and tempra paint. Most of it is done with Acrylic.

The Cucumber Milky Way: Had a lot of fun with this one, it sold for $500. That was good, and hopefully I can do this sort of painting again, because I had to do alot of splashing.

Hello world? This is your captain Jake speaking. We at the center for the creeps of modernism have started a new blog. It will be a glorious site for challenging dialog and exciting art, mostly paintings and drawings that will stimulate questions upon answers that hopefully will never be answered.

This right here is a painting I have done, which was about my ex-girl friend. There will be more to come as soon as I have better access to better tools, hold on tight!
